Ardmore, PA – 2024 – In a significant move to enhance community development and support in Ardmore, David Shulick and Pastor Carolyn Cavaness have announced the formation of a new non-profit community development corporation, Bethel Ardmore Cares, CDC. This initiative aims to address various community needs and foster a stronger, more resilient Ardmore.
As the pastor of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church in Ardmore, Rev. Carolyn C. Cavaness has been a trailblazer since she joined the church on Sheldon Lane in May 2019, becoming the first woman to serve as pastor in its 120-year history. David Shulick, known for his extensive background in law, business, and community service, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to this partnership and has volunteered his time to work with Pastor Cavaness to provide assistance.
