Mays Landing, NJ – Renowned local author and historian, Angelo Dellomo, will be holding a book signing event at the Mays Landing Hometown Celebration on Saturday, June 29th. The event, which will take place in Memorial Park from 10 AM to 4 PM, is a major county attraction that also draws numerous travelers passing through on their way to the seashore.

Angelo Dellomo, a retired educator and recipient of the New Jersey Governor’s Teacher Recognition Award for excellence in education, is celebrated for his captivating lectures on New Jersey Pine Barrens ghost towns. He is the author of two critically acclaimed books, “Harrisville” and “McCarty’s Paper Mill,” which delve into the rich history of the Pine Barrens.

In addition to his writing, Dellomo serves as a Historic Sites Interpreter for the State of New Jersey and volunteers as a docent at Historic Batsto Village and Historic Atsion Mansion. He is also a past Director and President of the Atlantic County Historical Society and an active participant in history and archaeology programs for youth.
